| 内容記述 | あるジャンルの特性を明らかにしたいという試みは、ことばはある時代に共通した精神的指向性を持って有力なジャンルを生成させるという認識に由来する。「小説」ということばは現在のところ明確な概念を与えられてはいない。ナラトロジー物語論は、形式的テクスト分析として、ジェラール・ジュネットの分析をはじめとして個別的に成果を上げた。 しかし「小説」と言う概念を「物語」という構造に収まらないものとして仮定するとき、理論と批評との軋轢が生じ、その方法そのものが矛盾を来すものとなる。一つの可能性としてミハイル・バフチンの理論が有効に小説の形式的特性を提示している。そこでの作者と作品内部の人格を相互に他者として扱う対話的思考形態に基づく考えかたは、言語論的には疑いを生じさせるが、示唆に富む。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | A desire to clarify the characteristics of a certain literary genre comes out of the recognition that language has the mental directivity (Geistesbeschaftigung) common to a certain time period, and that it generates a leading genre of that period. Even researchers today are unclear regarding the concept of what a novel really is. The Narratology achieved individual success including analysis of Gerard Junet as a formal explication de texte. However, when assuming the concept of "novels" can't be applied within the framework of "narratives", the friction of theory and criticism arises and the method itself brings about inconsistency. As one possibility, Mikhail Bakhtin's theory has effectively presented the formal characteristics of "novels". Bakhtin's thinking based on the Dialogism treats mutually the author and the characters inside a work as "others". Although it arises thought-provoking question in terms of language theory, it is still highly suggestive. | |||||
